Villasimius

The former small fishing village of Villasimius has blossomed into a real highlight in recent years. Its exceptionally beautiful geographical location links the east and south coasts. And so everything that makes Sardinia so uniquely beautiful comes together here: rugged cliffs, long sandy bays and small, very secluded bathing spots, always framed by the crystal-clear, shimmering waters of the sea.

Marina and golf course

Many of the long-standing Costa Smeralda enthusiasts have long since turned their attention to the south of the island. It is therefore hardly surprising that Villasimius, with its well-established local community and natural beauty, has become a favourite destination for the more affluent.
To cater to this new clientele, a very stylish marina and an 18-hole golf course have been built, both of which enhance the charm and image of Villasimius.
Of course, those on an average income will also find something to suit them. Even if you can’t afford your own yacht, a trip to the harbour is still well worth it. A sail on a sailing boat or a tasty snack at the harbour bar are definitely worth a visit.

Beaches and coves

Away from the access roads to the town’s large, long beaches, there are countless small side roads leading to a sheer multitude of tiny coves.
Anyone who loves to unwind on long walks along the beach will adore the beautiful sandy beaches at Capo Carbonara and Campulongu. Those who prefer a bit more solitude should set off on a journey of discovery and simply take a chance on one of the small country lanes leading towards the water. Variety is the key

Anyone who loves holidaying in Villasimius loves variety. The town’s astute management realised many years ago that only high-quality, sustainable tourism could allow the area’s natural potential to flourish to the full.
And so they decided to create an infrastructure that would also attract discerning and affluent holidaymakers.
What’s more, Villasimius boasts a wide range of excellent restaurants, most of which are family-run. As a result, you’ll find the perfect conditions here all year round for spending relaxing and enjoyable days.
The town centre has very ancient origins and still gives a glimpse of what this former fishing village in south-eastern Sardinia used to look like. Restaurants and cafés have now sprung up around the piazza. In summer, the village street becomes a pedestrian zone, serving as the evening meeting place for locals and holidaymakers alike.

Hotels and villas

Whilst the town centre and its immediate outskirts have been marred by some rather unsightly apartment blocks, greater care has been taken along the beaches to ensure that the villas and hotels there blend into the landscape and thus complement the gentle coastal scenery. It is therefore all the more fortunate that today, in Villasimius, you can find truly beautiful and tasteful accommodation right by the sea – including, of course, a few particularly lovely holiday homes available through us.
