The great thing about this house is its location right next to two magnificent, gently sloping sandy beaches – the sort of beaches that are hard to imagine being any more beautiful, even in the Caribbean.

You rarely come across anything like this, but here, on Cala Liberotto’s showpiece beaches, you certainly do. From the garden gate, you step straight onto a fine-grained, gently sloping sandy beach, next to a romantic rocky headland, and immediately beyond that, another sandy beach.

Children of all ages will find ideal conditions here for sport and play, as the beach combines all the best features and, what’s more, a nearby Swiss hotel offers tennis courts, surfboards, canoes and pedalos, which are sometimes available for hire even to non-residents. Naturally, there’s also a good restaurant and a cosy bar right by the sea. This combination allows you to enjoy the classic benefits of a holiday home alongside those of a hotel. You get the privacy and seclusion of ‘your own four walls’, whilst still having a restaurant, bar and so on right on your doorstep. There’s no chance of getting bored here!

The flat is very spacious and offers plenty of room even for larger groups, as the living room can double as an extra bedroom if needed. The kitchen is equipped with a washing machine and a dishwasher: another advantage, especially if you’re travelling with young children. The house, built around 1970, has been tastefully renovated in recent years.

This has given the house’s popularity a further boost, as it has been discovered as an affordable and attractive holiday home mainly by families who are friends and who know how to make the most of their money.
