- Shopping: A good range of shops in all categories in nearby Sos Alinos (3 km) and the town of Orosei (population 8,000, 6 km). For everyday needs, there is a small selection of groceries; fresh fish is available on the beach at Orosei, including eels and freshwater fish.
- Internet: From June 2017, mobile data roaming is regulated uniformly across the EU. Connectivity in the town and the surrounding area is very good almost everywhere. The Centro Servizi Tartaruga lends out routers, and Sardafit guests can also log in for free at various restaurants.
- Nightlife: In Orosei , there is a programme geared more towards locals for all age groups, available all year round. In Cala Liberotto , the Hotel Tirreno offers a German-language entertainment programme including a disco, officially for hotel guests only.

- Restaurants: A wide range of options available all year round, from ‘simple’ to ‘gourmet’, in Cala Liberotto and the surrounding area.

- Language course: A small, dynamic language school opened in Posada in 2003, which also offers short courses.

- Hiking: The local ‘Pro Loco’ in Orosei (= the municipality’s tourist information office) offers a wide range of exploration tours across the whole island. Sardafit’s service office organises, exclusively for its guests, tours into the unspoilt mountainous hinterland – the highlight of which is a feast with Sardinian shepherds in the most beautiful countryside – as well as boat trips to the offshore islands, a traditional Sardinian wedding feast at a farmhouse in the countryside, and much more. For hikes into the mountainous hinterland around Sardinia’s highest peaks (1,800 m), a map is advisable as there are no signposts away from the roads. Highly recommended: beach walks!
Osalla
Osalla marks the end of the fertile Orosei plain. Here, just before the macchia and the mountains reassert their rugged dominance and what is perhaps the most beautiful stretch of cliffs in the Mediterranean begins, you will find a stunning, long sandy beach that has remained largely untouched by tourism.
If you want to visit the sea caves, which are accessible only by sea, this is a particularly good place to start. Well worth a visit is the Grotta del Bue Marino, with its spectacular stalactites, situated just south of Cala Gonone.
Along several kilometres of the most beautiful sandy beach, there are barely 20 houses, no hotels, no campsites, just a few beach bars – and all this just 5 km from Orosei. This beach is a real hidden gem for anyone who loves peace and tranquillity.
