Easter in Sardinia
Sardinia is charming and full of surprises at any time of year. Holy Week this year (2017) was particularly beautiful. Warm, little wind, sunshine galore! To paraphrase Schiller: The sea smiles, inviting you to take a dip... Who? You'll never guess!
Take a look at some impressions from my convertible tour, filmed on the coastal road in the Capo Comino area.
Ceterum censeo, Sardinia essere visitanda – had the old Cato, with his proverbial stubbornness, seen this video, he would have varied his famous exhortation and sent his legions on holiday to Sardinia instead of preparing them for the destruction of Carthage.
It is difficult to imagine that not much has changed since Cato's time: there is still plenty of nature, beautiful beaches, and instead of tourists, cows bask on the beach. Unbelievable? Are the Romans crazy? No! See for yourself here:
Isn't that wonderful? Even cows don't want to miss out on this springtime pleasure!
Sardinia is a must-see. Even at Easter! For example, in a holiday home in Capo Comino or Cala Liberotto. From Sardafit.
